About Me
Hello! My name is Wenling Riehle (she/her).
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New York and Illinois, a Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Master Counselor (CASAC-M), a certified school social worker, and a yoga instructor with over 20 years of mindfulness and movement practice.
I specialize in trauma-informed, culturally responsive therapy for individuals seeking support with anxiety, trauma, identity exploration, relationship stress, and life transitions. I also work with partners and families affected by a loved one’s addiction, offering guidance, education, and compassionate support.
My approach blends mindfulness, somatic awareness, and evidence-based practices to help you feel grounded and understood. I create a safe, inclusive space where your lived experience, cultural background, and personal strengths are honored.
As a trilingual therapist (English, Mandarin, Taiwanese), I am passionate about supporting international students, immigrants, and multicultural individuals navigating identity, belonging, and major life changes. I understand the unique emotional and cultural challenges that come with adapting to a new environment, and I’m here to help you feel supported and empowered.
Outside of therapy, I find joy in nature hikes, yoga, and travel—experiences that continue to shape my values of curiosity, balance, and connection.
If you’re looking for a therapist who understands multicultural identities, trauma, mindfulness, and whole-person healing, I would love to connect and support you on your journey.
